A Beautiful Chaos is a framed still-life painting that measures 79cm tall and is 64cm wide in its frame.
It’s an intuitive creation with elements of observational painting. I was really interested in drawing the negative space to describe all the items on the table. The process allowed my imagination to see different objects in the shapes left behind and I introduced objects that I could see around me in an organic way as I moved around the painting. To me " A Beautiful Chaos" suggests a busy family home. There is a gentle humour in it if you look closely.
This is a bold statement art piece for a stylish family home.
There are many layers of acrylic under the black and paynes grey mix of the main background colour.
This painting is ready to hang when it arrives. It is finished with satin UV varnish over the canvas and a thin coat of cold wax.

Your painting or print will be sent by a trackable, signed for postal service and you will be notified with these details.
Framed Prints
These frames are available in three colours; black, white or oak and are made by German company Nielson Quadrum from FSC®-certified wood. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests that meet the criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council.
The Oak frames are solid wood from FSC®-certified sources with an Oak veneer.
The frame windows are made of edge-ground float glass with a UV filter of approx 45%, apart from the A1 size which is high-quality 3mm clear acrylic to prevent damage during transit. The frames are also equipped with an acid-free insert and a sturdy rear panel.

All prints are made to order and so I cannot process refunds of any kind.
In the unlikely event of receiving a damaged print please contact info@gabriellabuckingham within 48 hours attaching photographs of the damage. Once confirmed I will organise a replacement free of charge.
Original Paintings:
It's important to me that you are happy with your purchase. I have not yet ever had to refund someone for an original painting. If however you change your mind: on receipt please let me know why and return it under insured cover, very well packed with a fully tracked delivery service within 7 days for a refund, less processing fees. Delivery is not refunded.
