This is one of my favourites which I have named “The Interloper” . For me it’s a humorous painting and I love the contrast of the tiny plain white glass with the fancier items surrounding it.
I loved the adventure of painting this quite illustrative painting that I hadn’t really planned before I began. If you decide to register for the Self Paced Experimental Still Life course this year you will be able to see the truth of that as you watch me paint it.
